Have you ever said to yourself, “If I could just get that one big break I would go out and do exactly what I want to do in life instead of what I have to do!” It’s been stated many times that if you’re doing what you love then it’s not work at all.

Well, I did exactly that! I always knew owning my own business was where I was meant to be. The main question though was…Doing what!?

Over the past 28 years I've mastered many different roles in the office and administrative fields but never could really seem to find the role that wasn’t “work” for me. I have experience in Customer Service, Office Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Healthcare, and most recently Banking Center Management. I know what it feels like to go through multiple layoffs as our economy has been up and down over the past couple decades as well as life changes but that certainly didn’t stop me! With well-rounded experience it was time for me to leave corporate America and finally chase my dream…Entrepreneurship!

In spring of 2022 One Stop Screening Solutions, LLC was officially established. By June 2022, I set sail on this new journey in complete faith in God and my community to finally live out my dream of owning a successful woman-owned business.

Throughout 2023, I worked from home building this new company branding, logo, website, and marketing material all while a brand-new office upfit was taking place as well. Everything was finally coming together for the Grand Opening date to be scheduled. After patiently working and planning for months alongside the Lincolnton Economic Development Association and utilizing free services at the Gaston College Small Business Center, a Ribbon Cutting ceremony was finally on the calendar in September 2023.

Since then, we've had time to get opened and settled in, hitting the ground running with this community and convenience in mind.

If you’re a busy small business owner or in a Human Resources type role for your corporation, you will understand the challenges of getting your new hires through the onboarding process in a timely manner.
